Art-A-Whirl® at GPS

The annual Art-A-Whirl® art crawl (sponsored by NEMAA) in Northeast Minneapolis is May 20 – May 22. GPS is a member of NEMAA, and each year the GPS Arts Initiative puts together geeky participants and programming in conjunction with our neighbors at the Waterbury Building.

VENDOR SPACE AVAILABLE & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We’ll need folk to help with set up on Friday (starting noonish) and teardown on Sunday after 5pm, staff the merchandise table all 3 days, some wandering hosts to help around the building, Crafty Geek folk to help with the kids program from noon to 3 on Saturday and Sunday, and greeters to answer questions and talk about all we do. Email [email protected] to volunteer or apply for a table in our vendor space.

The Hack Factory (made possible by Twin Cities Makers) will have demonstrations out of our garage space on Saturday and Sunday, and Crafty Geek is hosting a kids art activity in the living room on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 pm.
