In December there will be only one Open Gaming event, this month it will be held December 7th. Open Gaming takes place from 10am to 10pm on the first and third Saturdays of most months. This is an opportunity for gamers to get together and share the games they love with new and old friends alike.  Bring your favorite Board, Card, Miniature, and Role Playing Games.

Designer Sessions

Likewise due to Christmas and New Years eve, there will only be one Designer Playtest session during December.  This session will be happening Friday December 20th in Suite 106, from 7pm on.

The Designers Sessions series of events will revolve around game designers of all stripes coming together. The Friday night sessions will be to play test games that designers are currently working on, or just play games that we really enjoy. Anyone who would like to hang out and playtest games, or just get together with other gamers is welcome.

Holidays “Game-A-Thon”

Date: Saturday, December 21st to Sunday, December 22nd

Times: 12 pm to 12 pm (noon to noon)

Location: Event Horizon room 107

Contact: [email protected]

For the holiday season will be having a 24 hour gaming extravaganza. If you have that weekend (December 21st) free, you should really plan to be there.  We will have the standard open gaming, along with Burl’s D&D game and there will be at least one console for when people feel like video gaming. There has been discussion of late night food delivery also, so we can keep our energy up.  Additionally we are going to be trying to host several events throughout the 24 hour period.

On that topic, if you would like to schedule an event, or have something you would like to see happen during the Game-A-thon, you can head to the Meetup discussion forum and contribute to the thread or you can send a message by using the contact button on the main group page, if you have a plan.
