Crafty Geek / Make It Sew

Meets on Thursdays at 7 pm at the Waterbury building. We also have a monthly Saturday salon and tea in the winter and the occasional away mission to a nifty crafty thing e.g. the Textile Center garage sale.

Make It Sew is a Crafty sub-club focused on people who sew. They start at 6:30 pm in the same space. All skill levels are welcome!

The Dioscurian Imperial Order of Dreamers, Engineers, and Scientists (DIODES) is the official Steampunk group for the Twin Cities of Minnesota.

Meets monthly and try to have larger events quarterly.

Geeks Read book club

Meets the first Tuesday of every month, with doors open at 7 pm and the discussion beginning at 7:30 pm. We primarily meet at Event Horizon (aka Waterbury Building) Room 106 1121 Jackson St. NE, 55413. We select titles three months in advance, and at each meeting we will choose a new book for the third month out from that meeting. Geeks Read includes a potluck of treats, so feel free to bring something tasty!

Meets the third Tuesday of the month, and we really want a wide variety of people and interests in photography involved. We post our events on Meetup and Facebook.

Read the Book / See the Movie

The GPS Read the Book/See the Movie club was our first club, with the goal to expand our reading and film horizons by comparing and contrasting films to their source material.

Meets on the second Friday of every month. Social time at 7 pm and the movie begins promptly at 7:30 pm. Location rotates among club members’ homes.
